Best 10 Person Tents – Top 5

#1 NTK Arizona GT 10 Person Sports Camping Tent

NTK have been providing high-quality products since 1975, so there is no doubt that this tent is one of the best 10 person tents out there.

The GT Sports camping tent can easily fit nine to ten people, and there’s plenty of space for both campers and their gear to fit inside.

The dimensions (height x width x depth) are 6.7 x 8 x 17.4 feet. Having a center height of 6.7 feet means that you don’t need to crouch at all, and can comfortably stand up and move around easily when inside. With this one, you can even have some privacy thanks to the tent having a detachable divider to form two rooms, and there are two separate doors for each room.

The flooring of the tent is waterproof, that has durable anti-fungus seamless polyethylene, and an inner silver-coated layer to ensure dryness and protection. There’s also an ultra-slim polyester micro-mesh material inside that provides protection from mosquitoes and small insects. The thin design lets fresh air flow inside the tent while keeping insects out.

There’s also a full coverage rainfly, with double layer 190T polyester, and it’s laminated with polyurethane 2500mm water column, partially aluminium, heat-welded PU seam sealed, and UV protection. It also has large, mesh covered vents for even more ventilation, and two large D-style doors.

This 10 person tent for camping is sturdy and very easy to set up, it uses two poles to build the inner tent and a small pole to extend the awning on the door and back area. I personally also really love the colors of this tent; the green and grey exterior blend in nicely with the surrounding nature.

The GT Sports Camping Tent comes in a highly resistant, zipped bag to carry your tent in with an ID label attached.

Lastly, there is a lifetime replacement on the poles. NTK completely back up their fiberglass compound, which has been tested over decades, and so if a pole gets broken by the force of wind while your tent was anchored to the ground with all strings, NTK will send you a new one, brilliant!

Pros
  • Easy to assemble
  • Durable
  • Plenty of space
  • Waterproof
  • Micro-mesh to keep insects out
Cons
  • No electric cable port

#2 Browning Camping Big Horn Tent

The Browning Camping Big Horn Tent has a free-standing design and is built to last with fiberglass poles and steel uprights for extra strength, combined with a hub design. Not only is the tent very stable, but it’s also super easy and quick to assemble, and is manageable with one person but is easier with two. All you need to do is simply clip each snap over the pole and buckle the fly.

This tent is not only great for group camping trips, it’s also perfect for hunting camping trips because there’s loads of space to keep the equipment inside. The tent’s appearance is rather simple; with two shades of brown and some sunshine yellow.

Whether you’re a seasoned camper or not, you’ll be able to set up this tent in about ten minutes!

This 8 to 10 person tent has plenty of ventilation, with six windows (two of the windows are on the doors), two doors, and a mesh roof which can withstand all the elements and will ensure that you stay dry and comfortable.

Plenty of windows are essential to stay cool in the heat, and the two large doors also provide easy access in and out of the tent.

The straight side walls are designed for maximum space, meaning more room for things such as your camping gear and additional camping furniture. There’s also a two-room wall divider for privacy.

With factory sealed seams, 75D 185T polyester fly, combined with 150D polyester oxford floor with 200mm coating, means rest assured that you’ll be protected from the weather and kept dry inside this tent, especially from rain.

The base size is 10’ x 15’, with a packed size of 12” x 30”. The center height of the tent is 87”, and the total weight is 34lbs. Apart from being so spacious, having such a height makes it easy to stand comfortably inside.

This 10 person cabin tent comes fully equipped with mesh storage pockets, polyester fly, guy ropes, and steel stakes.

Pros
  • Plenty of windows for ventilation
  • Spacious and large
  • Sturdy
  • Freestanding
Cons
  • Fragile zips

#3 Tahoe Gear Olympia 10 Person Cabin Tent

This Olympia ten man tent by Tahoe Gear is available in the color green and orange or orange and white, and is perfect for family or group camping.

Not only does it have a generous overall size, but it is also very affordable. Plus, it’s durable and long-lasting.

It’s easy to assemble with shock-corded poles and a pin-and-ring system which makes it quick to set up. With a high 84-inch center and wall height lets campers move around easily inside the tent.

The tent is made with high quality fabrics for water resistance; with durable 1200mm polyester body, which is great for both warm or cool weather. The 1200mm polyester fly, with taped fly seams, and a polyethylene binding floor ensures that it’s rainproof.

There’s also a power slip near the door which allows easy power cord access inside your tent.

At night when you’re asleep you don’t have to worry about proper ventilation, because there are floor vents to make sure you get enough air at sleeping level. For even more ventilation, the fly vents and open mesh roof area provide cross ventilation throughout, so that you stay cool.

Let’s not forget the fact that having an open roof is not just important for more fresh air, but this also means spectacular views, especially during the night. Personally, when I go camping it is a must for me to be able to lie down and look up at the stars and fall asleep doing so.

For those sunny days, or even the damp ones, the fly canopy extends out over the door for extra coverage.

In total, there’s one door and three windows which close with zippers.

Included you’ll find a convenient tent carry bag, pole bag, stakes, guy ropes, poles, pin-and-rings, rainfly, and assembly instructions. The total dimensions (L x W) are 18 x 10.5 feet, and the tent height is 7 feet, weighing at 23 pounds. There’s also a one-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Pros
  • Quick and easy assembly
  • Water resistant
  • Great ventilation
  • Durable and long-lasting
  • Affordable
Cons
  • No storage pockets

#4 Coleman WeatherMaster 10-Person Outdoor Tent

The Coleman WeatherMaster Outdoor Tent that sleeps ten comes in the color brown and has two doors. The maximum height is 80 inches, weighs 31 pounds, and the tent is made with polyester taffeta 75D 450mm with PU coating.

There’s enough room inside this tent to fit 3 queen sized air beds, the front door is hinged which makes it easier to enter, and there’s a room divider for extra privacy.

Coleman tents have something called a ‘WeatherTec system’, this means that Coleman have a rain room built in their factory to simulate rain conditions, varying from a light drizzle to heavy downpour, in order to test their tents beforehand. So, you know for sure that you’ll stay dry if some unexpected bad weather appears while you’re on your camping trip.

The measurements of this tent are 17 x 9 feet (W x D), with over 6 feet in height. It even has color coded poles that make the assembly process that much easier.

It’s quite a cheap 10 person tent, especially when you take into consideration all of the amazing features that this one has.

The windows are angled, meaning that you can even keep them open when it’s raining because they keep the water out and provide more air circulation.

There’s also a mesh storage pocket sewn into the side of the tent’s walls so that you can keep small necessities inside them within close reach and off of the floor.

Inverted seams in the tent increase weather resistance by ‘hiding’ the needle holes on the inside, and this tent is also engineered to have a strong frame to resist against the wind thanks to the redesigned poles and guy-out triangles.

The zippers on the doors are made of weather-resistant fabric, adding even more protection from rain. Not to mention the floors, which have been made with welding-inspired technology which strengthens the tent floor, eliminates needle holes, and makes it even more water resistant.

Apart from having fully taped rainfly seams, the rainfly covers the doors and windows and incorporates Velcro frame attachments which are easy to use.

It’s clear, that Coleman’s WeatherMaster is easily one of the best 10 man tents out there, and it feels more like a house than a tent.

You have everything that you need to set up the tent included, as well as a convenient carry bag which even has straight forward instructions sewn into the bag.

Coleman have been in business for over 100 years, producing high-quality and affordable products, and the WeatherMaster 10 person camping tent includes a one-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Since this tent is so large though, I wouldn’t advise that it’s used when it’s cold because it’s more difficult and takes longer to heat up the inside. Also, being the size that it is means that two people are needed to set it up. Don’t forget to check out our complete review – Coleman Weathermaster 10 Review.

Pros
  • Very spacious
  • Rain and water-proof
  • Sturdy and strong against wind
  • High-quality
Cons
  • Not great for cold temperature
  • No power cord access

#5 Mountain Trails Grand Pass 10 Person Tent

This tent for 10 comes in blue and white, and it’s great for groups of friends or for family camping trips.

The floor is polyethylene with welded seams (which is the best way of sealing), the windows are made with a polyester mesh, and the fly is made of durable nylon.

It comes with 7 fiberglass poles which are all shock-corded, and has a pin-and-ring system, which is not only easy to set up but is also very sturdy. There are two windows, two large doors which are D-style, and a patented hooped fly frame that adds rain protection. Aside from being water proof, it’s also wind proof.

The large mesh roof vents and windows provide great ventilation, ensuring that everybody stays cool inside. The measurements of this tent are (W x H x D) 18 x 6.3 x 10 feet. In addition, it’s very lightweight (only weighs 9.57 kg), and affordable.

You can create two rooms with the thin plastic sheet that can be attached at the corners with clips, and the doors are accessible from either of the rooms.

It’s easy to pack away in a bag, not at all bulky to carry around, and effortless to set up – even for first time campers.

Inside this ten person tent you can easily fit two queen size air mattresses, as it is very spacious. You can even fit three, but then they’d have to be put right next to each other so that depends on you and how you’d like to set up the inside.

This tent is better for summery and warm conditions as opposed to rain, and it’s not freestanding – this is important because it means you need the sort of ground that can hold the stakes, like soil.

There are a couple of small pockets on the wall, and included with the tent are the shock-corded poles, stakes, guy lines, and a pouch for the stakes. However, a carry bag is not included with this tent. Instead, the tent stakes and pole packet unroll with the tent, and the mud mat is used with elastic bands to wrap in a bundle.

Pros
  • Plenty of space inside
  • Water-resistant
  • Great ventilation
  • Quick to set up
Cons
  • Not freestanding
  • Not the best for heavy rain or strong wind
